Thank you uncle JOEY for keeping us FREE!!!!

Statton's Uncle Joey is away in Iraq, keeping us safe here at home. We are so thankful for his sacrifice. We love and we'll see you FEB. thanks Brie, Grady and Brenleigh for letting us all borrow you daddy and husband. Joey is a great daddy and misses them very much. We are lucky to get to have him in our family.
come home soon Uncle Joey!
We love you....

BBQ to kick off the festivities starting tomorrow morning

A very brunette aunt Jess is GREAT with Statton. I tell Chris I need a live in Jessica.

All smiles

The 4th Starts with Aunt Sandy's breakfast.

The bill and Sandy Finch grand kiddos
Two beauties Drew and Jordynn

Then to the Parade.
Theme American Heros

Check out this float , It's actually good. Last time I was at this parade it was pick up trucks filled with people throwing candy and advertising their company and now real live floats .

even a military fly by??? so cool

There was a class float for every "8" year back to 1958. In the words of Chris, "Every Fourth of july is a class reunion in Eagar."

Seriously George Washington praying made out of tissue paper!!

Riley and Grady wait patiently for the next round of candy coming their way
Sleepy Statton

The First annual
Wilson's VS. Wilkinson's
Horse Shoe competition
Yes there was a trophy and everything here we have Riley showing it off. She wanted to be the one to give away the trophy little did she know( or all of us know) that the competition would go on for 5 hours

Grandpa and Statton are soooo not impressed with the Wilkinson family

Now every Wilson Grand child has tried to pick off grandpa's mole...
But Statt is the first to try and eat it off..

He liked the tire swing but was not impressed when we took him four wheeling..

Take me out to the RODEO...

I like rodeos. They are very patriotic and they still said a prayer before they started. Thank goodness we had three former ranchers( Chris Sharon and Jessica) to keep me informed or in the know about the rodeo events.

Stattman fell asleep at his first rodeo not to exhilarating for him.

This horse beat these guys up. They're from New Mexico and we actually met them at the Rodeo dance later that evening BLAck eyes, scratches, bruises, but no broken bones!!!

Check out this little fatty completely off the ground!!! If a two ton bull can jump that high, then I should too.

what a fun weekend!! Wish we were there, next year for sure! I love the mohawks that all of sandi's grandkids are sporting. Someone should take the clippers away for those parents. Seriously.
